I am a lifelong resident of Northwest Florida, proudly rooted in both Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. On both side of my family--my mother and father--our heritage in Santa Rosa County dates back to before the Civil War. This is not where I live...this is home.
I am a father of four, a grandfather of twelve, and a great-grandfather of seven. Family is at the center of everything I do, and it's why I care so deeply about the future of our community.
I've been involved in sports my entire life--from soccer to teaching children rodeo--and I've had the privilege of coaching youth football, baseball, and basketball right here in Santa Rosa County. I believe in investing in our young people and building strong foundations for the next generation.
As a business owner for over 40 years, I've built and operated three successful businesses. I've never filed for bankruptcy. Like many, I've faced challenges--but through discipline, hard work, and commitment to living within my means, I've remained successful and debt-free. I understand responsibility, and I understand accountability.
Why I'm Running
Over the past 14 years, our Board of County Commissioners have become heavily influenced by realtors, brokers, land speculators, and those tied to developers. The priorities of this county--our infrastructure, public safety, and the needs of our citizens--have too often taken a back seat to profit-driven agendas.
Unchecked development, rezoning, and variances have favored developers, not the people who call this county home.
I am running to be the voice of the citizens of Santa Rosa County--a voice of reason and accountability. I will vote based on what the people want, not on personal interests or outside influence.
